Air at Summit One Vanderbilt by artist Kenzo Digital and KPF architects

While conducting architectural interiors photography in New York for my client, I got a last-minute call to photograph Air at Summit One Vanderbilt.

Air is a mind-bending space with infinite reflections in mirrored glass walls, ceilings and floors. It sits atop midtown's Manhattan's new tallest building by KPF Architecture, One Vanderbilt. Set amongst great classics in architecture such as Grand Central Terminal and the Chrysler building, this installation by artist Kenzo Digital offers some of the most spectacular views of New York City and the boroughs. It sits at the Summit which welcomes guests seeking a unique experience.

Miami FL Interior Design Photographer

While visiting South Florida recently, I was thrilled to be commissioned for interior design photography in the Miami area featuring designs by Trés Jolie Maison serving Chicago, Buffalo NY and Southern Florida areas. The signature color found throughout this space was a cobalt blue. As a former interior designer, it stood out to me that this particular hue was incredibly consistent so images needed to be properly color balanced for a fluent common thread from image to image. The hint of coastal coziness makes the space a win for this Boca Raton renovated condo.

This was also my first introduction to the Phase One system (IQ3).

Needless to say, the true 16-bit files and dynamic range at 35 ISO were jaw-dropping.
